Benchmark Research has been conducting clinical trials in San Francisco since 2003. Our site is located at the 490 Post Medico-Dental Building , near Union Square where all major Bay Area public transportation lines converge. See the address box in the bottom left corner of this page for driving directions to our site.
Our investigator team includes Dr. Ivor Emanuel, Dr. Robert Epstein, and Dr. Martin Terplan. Together, they work hard with our study nurses to bring safer and more effective vaccines and medications for influenza, obesity and smoking cessation. as well as many other types ofmedical issues. Their oversight includes the areas of Internal Medicine, Allergies, Women's Health and Infectious Disease. Moreover, we have recently began work with Dr. Shawn Hassler who has served the Bay Area for years — in the area of HIV and AIDS prevention and treatment research.
