Mark Lacy, Founder and CEO of Benchmark Research has been selected by Entrepreneur Magazine for the "Entrepreneur of 2010" Award

As the newest member of the Benchmark Research management team, I feel very lucky to be able to share this exciting news with the world. The founder and CEO of Benchmark, Mark Lacy has been selected as a finalist by Entrepreneur magazine as the Established Entrepreneur of 2010. The selection process has been rigorous with many hundreds of individuals submitted, and Mark has made it into the top 5 - quite an accomplishment!

Here at Benchmark, we feel this is an opportunity for the entrepreneurial world to catch a glimpse of the type of "high-tech" work we do everyday. Granted we aren't producing the next social media platform or developing a new cell phone, but what we are doing is helping pharmaceutical and biotech companies bring viable medications and treatments to market. It takes compassion, determination and a willingness to remain committed for the long haul.

For those of you out there who have had a chance to meet or work with Mark, you can understand why he has been chosen for this prestigious award. He has worked tirelessly to develop and grow this company from one small research site in Ft. Worth, Texas to six large, dedicated research centers in three states over 13 short years.
