In early 2006, Benchmark expanded with the opening of another quality site in the booming Northern California Capital City of Sacramento. Led by previous San Francisco Site Manager Beau Garland, this operation was an immediate success, and studies were already underway when the doors to our facility were opened.

Mr. Garland and Ms. Andrea Favalora (who leads Investigator Relations for Benchmark), quickly identified an excellent group of doctors with a strong practices, and began an intensive training program. Our site office is located in Central Sacramento, adjacent to our investigator team's private practice office. As such, our location serves as an ideal environment for recruitment directly from the clinic as well as through effective advertising.

The site offers the medical leadership of Dr. Ivan Rarick, Family Practitioner, and is supported by a highly accomplished sub investigator team, to include: Drs. George Kempton (Pediatrician), Lawrence Bugbee (Pediatrician), Victor Kyaw (Ophthalmologist / Surgeon) and Nurse Practitioners. Our Sacremento investigator team embraces clinical research, and the intrinsic value that clinical trials bring to their patient population. This is exemplified in their proven success in avidly recruiting their own patients for participation in Benchmark clinical trials.

Our coordinator team is comprised of seasoned professionals familiar with clinical research in Sacramento . They have all undergone extensive training with Ms. Lauren Foreman, who directs patient recruitment activities in all Benchmark site-markets. By the start of 2007, Benchmark Research had become known and respected throughout the Sacremento area.
